Cisco Rodriguez started Rocket Web Designer in Pembroke Pines in 1998. At the time, most small businesses didn’t have a website. The pitch was simple: you need a presence online, and we’ll build it.
Over the next 28 years, everything changed — search engines, social media, smartphones, Google Ads, AI — and Rocket evolved with every shift. The businesses that stayed with us through those changes are the ones that dominate their markets today.
What never changed is the core belief: a website is not a brochure. It’s a business development tool. Every site we build, every campaign we run, every automation we set up — it all points to one outcome. More customers. More revenue. More growth.
We’ve seen what happens when businesses treat their website as a checkbox — and we’ve seen what happens when they treat it as a system. There’s no comparison. We only build the second kind.

The Journey
1998
Rocket Web Designer Founded
Cisco launches the agency in Pembroke Pines, FL. First clients are local South Florida businesses who need a web presence. The internet is two years old.
2002–2010
SEO & Search Marketing
Google takes over the internet. Rocket becomes an early adopter of search engine optimization and Google Ads, helping local businesses rank before most competitors even understood what SEO was.
2010–2018
Mobile, Social & eCommerce
Smartphones change everything. Rocket rebuilds its approach around mobile-first design, social media strategy, and WooCommerce eCommerce for clients needing to sell online.
2019–2022
CRM, Automation & Performance
The shift from websites to systems. Rocket begins building full CRM integrations, lead automation, and performance-focused Google Ads campaigns. SpecRxDirect goes from $0 to $109K.
2023–Now
The Rocket Growth System + AI
Rocket launches the bundled Growth System — six services working as one engine. AI automation and GEO optimization added. Clients begin appearing in ChatGPT and Perplexity results.
